"The hardy water lilies are all perennial and will bloom year after year, even in the coldest areas of this country. They are distinctly different from the tropicals in that they generally float their blooms on the surface of the water, raising them above only in very crowded conditions. There are a few exceptions to the rule. The colors range through the yellows, oranges, red, pinks, and whites. All are day-blooming with flowers that open repeatedly for 3-5 days. Our new wooden box is ideal for hardy water lilies. Full sun and rich garden soil in shallow water completes their few requirements." |
