Old World Wall Fountains: Weather Resistant Traditional Old World Garden Statuary |
| These fountains may be purchased from the manufacturer, Accents in the Garden. They are made with special mixes and finishing techniques to achieve a garden-aged look that is is durable in all weathers! They are available in either Fiberstone or Fiberglass. Fiberstone has a rough surface and fiberglass has a smooth surface. Both materials are about half the weight of cement and can be outdoors year round. Accents in the Garden fountains manage to retain all the detail or the original with the added benefits of less weight, greater strength, and a product suitable for indoor and outdoor garden decor use. Fiberstone is a mixture of sand and stones cast into the surface using terrazzo-like techniques. The surface is then sandblasted and chemically treated, followed by an acid stain to give the appearance of aged stone. Since it is reinforced with a fiberglass backing, it remains light-weight and less fragile than concrete. All these fountains are available in a wide variety of finishes. |
