Ask a Designer

Whereas I once had envisioned for this page an educational feature offering good design solutions to commonly encountered Florida landscape problems, answering questions on the order of, "What can I plant around my leaky air-conditioning unit?," I never expected the flood of requests I've received for designing complete landscapes for vacation/retirement homes, investment properties, communities, and dreamhouses! Indeed, approaching a complete landscape design that a client will be living and dealing with over the years is quite a different task than suggesting a solution to a particular situation around the house. Hence I am proceeding Forum-Style to maintain this Feature effectively. Professional Planners, Designers, Horticulturists and the like are welcome to throw in their two cents too, and include approriate links to their design related web pages. |
