The Stump
The Stump is typical of Waldo Sexton's personal style of landscape architecture. So intrigued was he by this huge phenomenon of cypress, he had it carted laboriously across the state to grace the entrance of McKee Jungle Gardens. Though hidden now by Strangler Fig and other Ficus, The Stump, once a U.S.1 Landmark, will again emerge in the new plan as a symbol of Welcome to Vero Beach. |
